Dozens of tires slashed in fixed-income neighborhood

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – No one wants to wake up to news that their tires are flat. That’s how dozens of residents, who are on fixed incomes, woke up Monday morning after someone allegedly came by and stabbed their tires.

“It just hurts. We’re all hurting. Not just me,” said Sonja Jackson.

Jackson lives at the Harmony Marcus Garvey Apartments, near NE 24th and Prospect. It’s a neighborhood for those 55 years old or older and on a fixed income…
