OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Oklahoma City crime numbers are in for 2025, and there is some good news, as the city’s homicide rate saw a decent decline. Mayor David Holt says, despite what people may hear or feel, we are actually living in a much safer time relative to previous decades.
“I have people all the time when it relates to [news they see], they say, ‘oh, it’s like all I ever see are crimes and murders on the 10 o’clock news,’ you know,” Holt said.
