Oklahoma City updates bulky waste pickup for 64,000 residents

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — More than 60,000 Oklahoma City Utilities customers can expect changes to their bulky waste collection schedule starting March 1.

The changes come due to the rollout of the Utilities Department’s new service routes. Those changes will happen within the central corridor from South I-240 Service Road north to 122nd Street between May Avenue and Bryant Avenue, including a few neighborhoods north of 122nd.

Those 64,000 customers impacted, starting on March 1, will see the new schedule on their bill and in their okcutilities.com portal account. Residents will also receive a notice of the change by postcard in late January. Those who receive the postcard should hold onto it as it will be a way to reflect their new bulk pickup schedule, which includes the dates for March, April, and May.
