Wrong-way driver killed in 2-vehicle crash in Grady County

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. (KOKH) — A wrong-way driver was killed in a crash on Wednesday evening after he collided with an oncoming vehicle, causing both vehicles to roll and burst into flames.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that the crash happened shortly before 7 p.m. on H.E. Bailey Spur at mile marker 101 in Grady County.

Troopers say a vehicle driven by William G. Dixon, 75, of Oklahoma City, was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes when it collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle.
