Lake Hefner Water Tower Freezes Over After Dramatic Leak

A water tower near the northeast shore of Lake Hefner experienced a significant leak yesterday morning, causing ice to form on the lower portion of the structure and nearby areas of the park. Oklahoma City officials reported that water from the leak froze as it flowed down the tank, creating icy conditions around the site. Crews responded to the scene to identify the source of the leak.
