SPENCER, Okla. (KFOR) — With subsidy cuts to parents and daycare providers, it’s becoming a financial and emotional challenge for parents to pay for childcare, and for daycare providers to keep their businesses afloat.
“I’m trusting that God won’t let it destroy me, but it’s hitting hard. It’s hitting really hard.” Emma Fields is talking about her business, Emmies Daycare of Special Little People in Spencer. “I love what I do. I feel if I lose my babies, it’s going to be tough.”
