Oklahoma leaders react to Devon Energy’s planned merger and move to Texas
OKLAHOMA CITY – After Devon Energy announced its intention to merge with a Houston-based company, Oklahoma leaders are responding to the energy company’s planned move its headquarters to Texas.

Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt released a partial statement Monday morning, saying he had received assurances from Devon Energy CEO Clay Gaspar, who reportedly said the majority of Devon’s employees will remain in Oklahoma City.
