OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – A man was pulled from the water and transported to the hospital in critical condition on Monday after attempting to retrieve his boat that had been carried away by strong winds.
A fisherman nearby saw the man launch his boat before strong winds got hold of it and took the boat away from shore. That’s when the man went into the water in an attempt to retrieve his boat, went under, and never resurfaced, according to officials.
OKCFD crews, along with the Oklahoma City Police Department, placed boats into the water, including a diver. The diver found the adult male and brought him to shore.
He was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition…
