According to The Oklahoman, the restaurant said in a social-media announcement that Friday was its final day of service and labeled the Edmond location “permanently closed.” The post tied the decision directly to the winter weather that hammered the metro in late January.

The late-January system dropped measurable snow and ushered in bitter cold, creating a rough stretch for local restaurants. Hazardous roads and outages made it tougher for staff to get to work and for suppliers to keep kitchens stocked, according to the National Weather Service.
