Claim rejected for bystander hurt in Midwest City police chase crash

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (KFOR) —  A Midwest City man’s claim is being denied, and he’s now out nearly $50,000 after being hit when police executed a PIT maneuver to stop a fleeing driver.

Rocky Clark was in his truck, pulled over on the side of the road, as he saw red and blue lights fast approaching.

“The next thing I know, he’s coming head-on at me, and he hit me,” said Clark after the officer performed a PIT maneuver and sent the fleeing car flying into Clark’s vehicle…
