OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — As state lawmakers consider legislation, some are drafting bills that would make a big change in how students are graded at Oklahoma colleges and universities.
University of Oklahoma student Samantha Fulnecky received a zero on a bible-based essay last year, by a graduate teaching assistant, sparking national conversations on academic and religious freedom.
Fulnecky appealed her failing grade, and as a result, the graduate teaching assistant was terminated from the role.
