Sedalia’s Oyster & Seafood in Oklahoma City made USA TODAY’s list of best restaurants in the country.
The USA TODAY Restaurants of the Year 2026 list, released today, features 39 restaurants from fine-dining establishments to roadside burger shacks.
“What we’re doing is impacting where we are. I think that lists in this vein impact communities like ourselves a lot more than they may impact larger markets that have other things,” said Zack Walters, chef-owner of Sedalia’s. “The old adage is, ‘if you can make it in New York, you can make it anywhere.’ And I think we’ve realized if you can make it in Oklahoma City, you can make it anywhere just because even though it’s not as difficult competition-wise, it’s a difficult market.”…
