A pre-dawn fire tore through part of the Retreat at Lakeside apartment complex in northwest Oklahoma City, jolting residents out of bed and into the cold as firefighters rushed in to contain the flames. Crews arrived in the early morning hours, got the blaze under control, and evacuated several units in the process.

According to News 9, Oklahoma City Fire Department units were dispatched just before 4 a.m. today to the Retreat at Lakeside, near Northwest 50th Street and North MacArthur Boulevard, and began evacuating residents from impacted buildings.
