OKLAHOMA CITY – An adult man was taken to the hospital after being shot while riding in a vehicle on a northwest Oklahoma City highway late Saturday night, according to the Oklahoma City Police Department.
Officers responded around 11 p.m. to a report of a shooting that occurred on a freeway, possibly along Lake Hefner Parkway.
What police say happened
According to a police lieutenant at the scene, a woman called 911 and reported her boyfriend had been shot while they were driving on a highway in northwest Oklahoma City. Investigators said the exact location of the shooting remains unclear.
Police later located the vehicle in the parking lot near the emergency room entrance of INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center near Northwest Expressway. Officers said the vehicle had visible bullet holes on the passenger side…
