Village Police seized 35 pounds of illegal marijuana last week after receiving an anonymous tip of illegal drug activity occurring at a residence in the 1500 block of Brighton in The Village.
Booked into Oklahoma County Jail for a felony charge of trafficking marijuana over 25 pounds were Obie Lamont Chambers, 54, and Majdah Bin-Salamon, 44. If convicted, punishment could result in a fine ranging from $25,000 to $100,000 and a lengthy prison sentence.
