Northwest Oklahoma City crash leaves 1 dead after car enters pond

OKLAHOMA CITY – A person is dead after a car entered a neighborhood pond in northwest Oklahoma City early Sunday, according to the Oklahoma City Police Department.

Police said the crash happened around 12:35 a.m. near Heritage Oaks Drive.

What happened

According to police, officers and firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle that left the roadway and entered a pond.
