Oklahoma Civil Air Patrol cadets soar in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – This week, Civil Air Patrol leaders from across the country and top cadets from their respective wings came to the nation’s capital for CAP’s annual Legislative Day. The event gives Civil Air Patrol’s young leaders the chance to visit with members of Congress to impress upon them the importance of continued financial support for Civil Air Patrol, which, in addition to developing the nation’s youth, also carries out critical emergency relief operations and promotes aerospace education.
