On Saturday night at historic McCasland Field House, Oklahoma defeated No. 3 Nebraska in men’s gymnastics for the second time this season and in record-setting fashion. The Sooners scored a nation-best 2026 team score of 331.300 to post their ninth win of the season and solidify their firm hold on the No. 1 position.
Thirteen times in the past quarter century, one or both of the Oklahoma gymnastics programs have been crowned national champions. Six of those combined national championships since 2000, including three of the previous four, have been awarded to the OU women, but nine have been delivered by head coach Mark Williams and the Sooner men.
