Police investigating OU bus collision, three transported to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries

OU Police Department is investigating a collision involving a university bus and a black Dodge Charger near Lloyd Noble Center that sent three people to the hospital Wednesday afternoon.

OUPD Public Information Officer Chase Brooks confirmed to OU Daily Wednesday three individuals were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Bus riders said the bus driver was taken to the hospital in an ambulance prior to Daily staffers’ arrival on the scene.

OU student Fynn May, who was on the bus at the time of the crash, said the bus driver sustained the worst injuries.

“He was pretty banged up. He had a head injury … ,” May said. “Everyone else seemed just normally banged up. Very fortunately, minor injuries.”…
