MIDWEST CITY, Okla. – A driver suffered minor injuries after crashing into a utility pole Monday morning in Midwest City, prompting temporary road closures near a busy intersection, according to police.
Police responded to the crash near South Westminster Avenue. Authorities said the collision involved a single vehicle.
Investigators said the woman driving the car lost control and struck the pole, breaking it and leaving power lines hanging low over the roadway. Officers said she sustained minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to a hospital.
