UPDATE: Fire officials say, “This appears to be a single-vehicle accident, and it is unknown how long the vehicle had been in the water before being reported. The vehicle was partially submerged and sideways, with the driver’s side sticking up out of the water where the driver was found.”
OKCFD is reminding citizens, if you see something unusual or dangerous on the water, Report it immediately, as quick action can save lives.
The driver has since been transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Authorities, alongside a dive team, are at Lake Overholser after a vehicle went into the water with a person inside.
Fire officials say the driver hit a tree and rolled into the water. Crews rescued the driver from inside the vehicle and are now evaluating them for injuries.
