OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KOKH) — The Multi-County Grand Jury in Oklahoma indicted two people for a multi-state retail theft scheme targeting Walmart.
The Oklahoma Attorney General’s office said two people, Angel Jones and Christopher Loepke, carried out the coordinated scheme over the past six months, resulting in more than $55,000 in losses for Walmart.
The AG’s office said the duo would use Walmart’s Scan & Go mobile checkout system to fraudulently obtain merchandise like calculators and trading cards by using lower-priced items or concealing higher-priced merchandise inside other products…
