Oklahoma – Dust lifts off dry fields and swirls across highways this morning as powerful winds surge into central Oklahoma. The air already feels warm and restless around Oklahoma City, and conditions will intensify quickly as the day unfolds.

According to the National Weather Service in Norman, a High Wind Warning remains in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. across central Oklahoma, including Oklahoma City, Norman, Edmond, Yukon, and Stillwater. Northwest winds will strengthen to 35–45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph, strong enough to down tree limbs and damage power lines…
