Authorities have not released the names of either the victim or the suspect. Investigators also have not publicly disclosed the juvenile’s condition or what they believe led up to the gunfire inside the home.
Police Response and Scene Work
Officers locked down the immediate area while detectives processed the scene, collecting evidence and going door to door to speak with neighbors. The Midwest City Police Department is asking anyone with tips, security footage or information about what happened to reach out through the department’s online tip form or by phone.
As part of their canvass, officers focused on nearby homes and businesses, hoping surveillance cameras might have captured anything useful to piece together the moments before and after the shooting.
