OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The Medical Examiner has released autopsy findings for Lich Vu, an elderly man who was slammed to the ground by a former Oklahoma City officer during a 2024 traffic stop and died nearly a year later.
According to the report released on Monday, Vu’s cause of death was from metastatic papillary thyroid carcinoma, with other ‘significant conditions contributing to his death,’ such as atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, remote blunt force trauma, tauopathy, and type 2 diabetes mellitus.
