Pitt State Falls to Central Oklahoma in Seven Innings

PITTSBURG, KS. — Over at Al Ortolani field, No. 1 Pitt State played Central Oklahoma in game two of the three game series, falling 13-3.

The Bronchos had an early 3-0 lead going into the bottom of the first, but the Gorillas responded well on offense with hits to right field by Eric Bacon and Isaac Webb, bringing in two runners and making it 3-2 at the end of the first inning.

Central Oklahoma kept its groove on offense going into the second inning, bringing in another two Bronchos for a three-run advantage, but Pitt State fought back and added a run in the second inning, making it 5-3.

The Bronchos consistent on offense, having no trouble with the bats. Pitt State unable to get anything else going on offense as Central Oklahoma took the game in seven innings…
