Fire crews respond to grass fire in NW OKC, damages estimated $347,000

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Firefighters say a grass fire and commercial fire in Northwest Oklahoma City that spread toward a commercial building has led to an estimated $347,000 in damages.

According to fire officials, crews contained the fire and led five employees to safety after a debris fire was located by firefighters spreading quickly due to conditions.

Firefighters conducted the following:

  • Managing hazardous materials on the scene
  • Conducted decontamination
  • Coordination with partner agencies
