Man In Critical Condition After Southwest OKC Shooting

A heated argument at a southwest Oklahoma City apartment complex spilled into gunfire overnight Saturday, leaving one man in critical condition and another in handcuffs, according to police. Officers were called to the complex near Interstate 240 and South May Avenue, where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Police took a suspect into custody at the scene, but offered few details in the early morning hours.

Police: Argument Escalated Into Gunfire

Investigators told KOCO that the shooting started as an argument between two men. At some point, one of them pulled a gun and opened fire, hitting the other man.

The victim was transported to an area hospital and remained in critical condition. Officers detained the suspected shooter, but police have not released either man’s name or said what sparked the confrontation.
