Late-Night Dog Mauling Leaves Man Hospitalized, Two Nabbed In Southeast OKC

A Sunday night dog attack in southeast Oklahoma City left a man hospitalized and two people in handcuffs after officers tracked the victim and the animals into a nearby woodline. Police said the man, who has not been publicly identified, was rushed to a local hospital, and his condition has not been released. The case remains under active investigation by Oklahoma City police.

Officers Say Call Came In Around 10 p.m.

Oklahoma City police told reporters they were dispatched at about 10 p.m. to the area of Southeast 15th Street and South Jordan Avenue after reports that a man had been bitten by two dogs, according to News 9. Officers located the injured man and the two dogs in a woodline, the department said, and took two people into custody near the scene. The animals were sent to OKC Animal Welfare for evaluation and handling, per the report.
