Edmond Police: DoorDash driver stabbed during overnight delivery, suspect on the run

EDMOND, Okla. (KFOR) – Authorities in Edmond are searching for a man accused of stabbing a DoorDash driver with a pocket knife and running away.

Police responded to the crime scene in a neighborhood near Bryant Avenue and Danforth Road around 2:00 a.m. Wednesday morning. Officers say when they arrived they spoke with the victim, a DoorDash delivery driver. That driver told police a man approached her car and asked if she had any water.

Police say when the driver attempted to grab water for him, he reached into her car, grabbed her pocket knife and stabbed her in the leg with it. Authorities say the driver’s injuries were minor and she refused medical treatment…
