OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Lake Overholser is an attraction for fishermen and visitors who enjoy the outdoors. However, in recent months, bodies have been recovered from the lake after sudden car crashes.
Over the weekend, first responders rushed to South Overholser Road for reports of a car crashing into the water.
The Oklahoma City Fire Department’s dive team recovered a body trapped inside a car found 20 feet away from the shore, submerged under water.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation…
