Authorities work to recover body from Lake Thunderbird

NORMAN, Okla. – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol will work to recover the body of a person they believe drowned at Lake Thunderbird.

According to the Norman Fire Department, they received a call about a possible drowning around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Initial reports said two men were riding a jet ski when they lost control and fell into the water.

Authorities said one of the passengers resurfaced, and a bystander pulled that person to safety…
