Fugitives on the run out of South Dakota apprehended in Texas on human trafficking charges

Two fugitives wanted out of South Dakota on human trafficking charges were apprehended on Monday in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Sheilata Gordon and Myeshia Gordon-Hughley had been on the run for over eight years, with warrants for human trafficking.

In 2017, both were charged with several felonies in Hughes County but fled the state after being freed on bond following their initial court appearances…
