Omaha, Nebraska native Cameron Logsdon is a college public speaking lecturer, and when he walked onto the America’s Got Talent stage to audition for Season 21, it was easy to see why.
He carries himself with an easy confidence, and speaks casually, clearly and quickly. “I had my kid when I was young, and I prioritized raising him and doing all of that,” Logsdon explained to the Judges on Night 6 of Auditions, telling them that his son is “very excited” that his dad is on AGT. “He’s in college now. I was a teen parent. To get this opportunity, it means a lot.”
As the stand-up comedian launched into his Act, he did a stellar job of subtly buttering up Judges Howie Mandel, Mel B, Simon Cowell, and Sofía Vergara. “You all know that being a Judge on this show is a highly coveted job. Everybody wants to have it. You all are so good at it. I know you need breaks every once in a while.
