The future Buc-ee’s in Gretna continues to make progress with pending approvals of the final plat and rezoning and an application to use Good Life District funds to help finance the project.
Last week, the Gretna City Council reviewed and approved the application for final plat for a subdivision named Platte River Beaver Habitat. The 42.88-acre site is located on vacant land east of the Flying J truck stop and south of Interstate 80 and the Nebraska Crossing shopping center. The land will be subdivided into five lots and will have Highway Commercial zoning. The largest lot, which is a little over 30 acres, will be the site of Buc-ee’s. The four outlots range from two to three acres and are located on the east side of the property along 214th Street.
Today, the City Council will vote on a resolution approving funding from the City’s Good Life District Economic Development Program to the Buc-ee’s project and the related development agreement…
