OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The man accused of threatening Gov. Jim Pillen’s family and a school had his case sent to district court for trial.
Documents show Ean Halstead waived his preliminary hearing last Friday.
Investigators allege Halstead left a comment on the Columbus Catholic Schools website in late June threatening to shoot up the school and kill members of the governor’s family and a few nuns.
Authorities tracked the comment back to Halstead, which led to a SWAT team converging on an Omaha neighborhood in July. First Alert 6 was on the scene when Halstead was arrested…
