OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Investigators believe three children were riding e-bikes illegally on a side road Thursday evening when one of them was struck by a car after it honked at them.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office reports responding to the area near 205th and Harrison Streets at around 6:30 p.m.
The sheriff’s office says the children jumped a curb to get away, but the driver followed them. One of the children fell off his bike and was run over by the driver chasing them. Deputies say the driver chased another child before leaving the scene…
