OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Ralston Public Schools is voting on its budget tonight, with one main increase coming from transportation and busing costs.
The district expects to raise its transportation budget by about 5%.
Diesel prices driving the increase
The district builds its budget months in advance, forecasting fuel costs each spring for the August start of school.
