OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The Omaha City Council is considering using $4.6 million from the Omaha Parks Foundation to update fields at Levi Carter Park that have been affected by drainage problems, rodent damage, and theft and vandalism.

Local sports organizations say there are not enough turf fields to meet demand. Two new turf fields at Levi Carter Park are intended to address that shortage.
