OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Last week’s flooding was the third time in 12 years that some residents near 35th and Frederick experienced a major sewer backup, including twice in the past five years.
The events are sometimes called 100-year floods, but that designation means there is a 1% chance of such an event happening in any given year.
