Nebraska regents approve $500 million Project Health increase, Gold contract extension

The University of Nebraska Board of Regents passed a $500 million increase to Project Health, a teaching hospital being built in Omaha.

The project increased from $2.19 billion total for a 1.25-million-square-foot building to $2.748 billion for a 1.5-million-square-foot building.
