OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Edward L. Zachary Jr., an Omaha native who served as this station’s general manager under previous ownership, died earlier this month at the age of 85. According to his obituary posted by Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak-Cutler Mortuaries, Zachary graduated from Omaha North High School and attended the University of Nebraska-Omaha, earning a bachelor’s degree in English.
