(Glenwood) — Glenwood city officials are formulating an updated agreement for animal control assistance. Meeting in regular session Tuesday night, the Glenwood City Council heard an update from Police Chief Eric Johansen regarding the agreement. Previously, the Glenwood Police Department has partnered with Glenwood Vet Clinic to provide assistance and services on an as-needed basis. However, Johansen says the rates from the local vet have risen prompting them to look into other options, including one clinic out of Council Bluffs.
