OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The EPA has fined Omaha chemical manufacturing facility Nox-Crete for allegedly breaking multiple environmental laws. The U.S. Environmental Proetction Agency began investigating Nox-Crete after a massive fire there in May 2022. During a facility inspection after the fire, the EPA said just more than 650,000 pounds of chemicals were released, including more than 40,000 of extremely hazardous substances.
