Lincoln, NEB – The Omaha Supernovas arrived on Wednesday evening with a bang. Members of the Pro Volleyball Federation, the “Novas” were hand selected as the league’s inaugural match, pointing to the deep ties Nebraska has with the sport. In front of a United States professional volleyball record-breaking crowd of 11,642, the Supernovas broke down another barrier for women in sports.
