OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The Douglas County Department of Corrections reported an in-custody death on Thursday morning. Jason Rudy, 44, was found unresponsive in his cell at 9:02 p.m. Wednesday, according to county officials. Life-saving measures were immediately carried out until Omaha Fire Department paramedics arrived at the scene and took him to a hospital.
