David’s Morning Forecast – Cloudy and cool with patchy fog

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – More low clouds and patchy fog across the area this morning. Visibility may drop to below a mile at times this morning around the metro. Temperatures are starting the day above freezing, sitting the mid-30s so we are not seeing any icy patches. Overnight rain to the south and west of Omaha will continue to move away, though some patchy drizzle can’t be ruled out through the morning hours around the metro. The drizzle and fog should thin out for the afternoon, but clouds likely stick around all day. That will make it a difficult to warm much, temperatures slowly push into the low and mid-40s this afternoon. While cool, that still puts us a good 5 to 10 degrees above average for this time of year.
