Political drama in Nebraska village causes unnecessary headaches, special election, residents say

NEHAWKA, Neb. – Residents of Nehawka, where about 170 people live, say the village has struggled since an employee retired at the end of the year. The village employee would have cleared snow and checked on the village’s water if they were still around. Instead, a water main break was discovered late, some residents told KETV Investigates.
