OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A cold start to the day for the metro with temperatures in the mid-20s around town. Clouds were a little thicker to the west of the metro keeping temperatures closer to 30 degrees. We will continue to see some cloud cover at times this morning, but the clouds will not stick around all day. Unlikely yesterday, we should see plenty of sunshine this afternoon. The sun along with light winds should make for a decent day. Temperatures will warm back into the upper 30s by Noon, with afternoon highs in the mid-40s. That puts us back into the 5 to 10 degree above average range. Not bad for the first half of February.
