Notre Dame has struck gold in the Omaha (Neb.) Westside program recently. Of course you can look at the 2024 class with linebacker signee Teddy Rezac and his brother Anthony, who is a preferred walk-on quarterback. Although it’s a different school, the Irish also dipped into Omaha to grab All-American safety Xavier Watts in the 2020 recruiting class.
The program is hoping to make an impact on the area again with 2025 linebacker Christian Jones , who is a former teammate of the Rezac brothers. Jones, who is one of the more talented defenders in the 2025 class, has told Irish Breakdown that he has set his return trip to Notre Dame on April 20th for the Blue-Gold Game.
Jones made his first trip to campus last season during the team’s battle against Ohio State on September 23rd. He is being pursued by a long list of impressive programs, including the Irish, Oklahoma, Penn State, USC, Washington, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Missouri, Wisconsin, Iowa, Boston College, Michigan State, Kansas State, Minnesota, Kansas and Iowa State among others.
